Doran Vineyards is owned by Irish-born, London-based Edwin Doran. His Partner/CEO is André Badenhorst, a South African wine icon. It is the home of elegant, artisan, hand-nurtured wines created by dedicated, passionate people.

Doran Vineyards is a boutique farm measuring 179 hectares in total with 55 hectares under vine on the Paarl/Swartland border.

Since being established, the farm has produced a growing portfolio of award-winning, quality, premium wines.

The wines are made for you to really enjoy, accentuating the individual qualities of each type of grape. They are created and made with character and personality; wines which respect the fruit and have an inherent elegance to them.

Where Vine Stock Grows from Strength to Strength

The farm was bought in June 2010, André and Edwin decided in July 2011 to develop Doran Vineyards as a premium wine estate. The substantial building project (new cellar, offices, barrel hall, tasting room, workshops, etc.) was completed for the 2012 vintage.

The farm has gone from strength to strength and after a very small first harvest in 2012 plans were made to improve the vineyards, including changing the trellising system. Yields are kept down with the emphasis on delivering quality wines.

In a very short period of time Doran has succeeded in making some superb wines.
